This is the place to submit any bugs that you may have found that affect the way Agriya's software is functioning.
This is not a support desk and you won't receive help for a specific problem.
For support related queries please submit a support ticket.
Are You Sure This Is A Bug?
Generally a bug can be defined as the software not working in the way that is intended by the developers and is causing
problems to all customers or can be replicated on our demo.
Good Examples of Bug Reports
Wordpress does a very good job of tracking and eliminating bugs, have a look at all the bug reports that have been submitted:
http://core.trac.wordpress.org/report/1
Read the tickets marked as defect (bug) to understand the kind of bug reports that you can submit for Agriya's products.
Also note the type of bugs that have been re-classified as enhancement.
This should help give you an idea of whether you are reporting a bug or an enhancement request.
Before You Submit A Bug
We appreciate you taking the time to submit a bug and check every report that comes in.
We often find that bug reports from client websites are not bugs but script or server setup errors so before submitting,
please run through this checklist.
Are you using the latest version of the software?
Are you able to replicate the problem in Agriya's demo. We often find that bug reports can be traced to server or script
setup problems so please double check with Agriya's online demo to see if the problem exists there too.
Would everyone be reporting the issue if this bug existed in the script. For example if your bug report says that
system emails are not sending then every single person who owns this product would be reporting the problem which is unlikely.
Is the bug you found related to a 3rd party plugin or API? Agriya's scripts make a lot of use of 3rd party API's like
Facebook Connect or ReCaptcha. If you are having problems with this then consider the possibility that the script hasn't been setup
correctly or the 3rd party provider might even be experiencing some problems.
Are you sure this is a bug or a feature request or improvement. A bug would be if someone tries to upload a photo and the file
path is incorrect, an improvement would be to crop the photo to a specific size.
Replication is the key to successful bug reporting and bug stomping. If you can't explain the exact steps to replicate the bug
then fixing it will become an issue.
Now that you are fully trained in bug hunting, it's with some trepidation that we await your bug reports.
