Photo Uploads

One thing that needs to be very easy to do is to let members upload photos with minimum fuss and hassle. Photoz does this effortlessly by employing a Flash uploader which allows members to upload mulitple photos and images and save them in multiple resolutions. Making the upload system as easy as possible is critical to the success of your site, and you can be sure that we have spent a lot of time refining just this one area.

Your members will even be able to import photos and images by giving the URL to the image they want to import and Photoz does the rest, saving it to the website and letting other members view it - it's literally as easy as copying the URL and clicking save.

Finally, we have built our hugely popular MugShot software in to Photoz which allows your members to take quick pictures of themselves using the webcam directly from their browser. MugShot is able to capture and save all the images taken and puts them in to an album automatically for other members to view, comment and rate. Read more

Quickslide

Your visitors can create custom Slide Shows right from within Photoz. As they browse through your site they simply click a button which automatically adds the image to a Slide Show which they can play later. They can access the Slide Show at any time along with adding and removing images at any moment. Once they have created their slide list (like play list) they can come back at any time to view the slide show or show it off to their friends. The slide lists created by members can be embedded and shared across websites, increasing the exposure for your website. Read more

Geolocation with Google Maps

Location, location, location, that's what people want to know, where was the photo taken? Where can I find other photos from the same location? Now your users can do all of this and more by 'geo-tagging' an image to a certain location. If the photo is of the Statue of Liberty, the member can 'geo-tag' it in Google Maps allowing members of your site to search for all the photos within a certain geographical area.

This incredible feature is not available in Facebook and many other social networking sites, but the scope is huge. More page views and more discussion as people ask questions about particular locations. How about a travel site where people can upload their snaps and let others comment on them? Read more
